NEW Strands today (game #750) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #750, are…
- SNAP
- CRACK
- SPLINTER
- BREAK
- BREAK
- SPANGRAM: ADVANTAGE
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
A straightforward game to start the week with SNAP firing off a quick search for me.
When I plugged in SPLINTER I felt sure it would be the spanframe as it is unusual for words to span from top to bottom, but instead it was BROKEN.
The other unusual thing about today’s search was how many non-game words qualified for the theme — I found three, but I’m sure there are more in there.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Sunday, March 22, Game #749)
- ZIPPER
- THERMOSES
- ESCALATOR
- ASPIRIN
- DUMPSTER
- SPANGRAM: GENERIC TERM
