NEW Strands today (game #736) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #736, are…
- PUMPKIN
- BEAN
- MUFFIN
- LUMP
- DUMPLING
- PEANUT
- SPANGRAM: ENDEARMENTS
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
It is a strange thing that so many food words are often expressions of ENDEARMENTS. I guess it goes to show how central to our lives tasty treats are. But that being said, I don’t think I’ve ever called anyone a BEAN, and I’m pretty sure if I called my significant other a DUMPLING, I’d be beaten.
Fortunately, solving the Strands puzzle didn’t put me in any such danger, as PUMPKIN, BEAN and MUFFIN all jumped out early. That gave me a good path across the board to the spanframe, and the other words followed without drama.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Sunday, March 8, Game #735)
- CLOCK
- SPRING
- HOUR
- LOSES
- SLEEP
- FORWARD
- SPAN FRAME: DAYLIGHT
