NEW Strands today (game #603) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #603, are…
- THE AMULET
- POTION
- CHARM
- SAFE
- INCANTATION
- BOILER
- SPANGRAM: Sorcery
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
This game wasn’t really “tricky”, but it felt fitting since we’re in a spooky season and today’s spangram was WITCHCRAFT.
In fact, this round was very light on tricks. Remember when we had a rainbow themed edition of threads with each word highlighted in a different color? I was expecting something similar here, maybe the words MAGIC disappeared before our eyes? Or at least a hint of purple and yellow.
This was not my only disappointment. I’m sure I wasn’t the only person who discovered “Dracula” first, only to discover that not only was it in the game, but it also didn’t qualify as a non-game word. Curses on all your rusty wagons.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Sunday, October 26, Game #602)
- Pumpkin
- CORN
- LEAVES
- SOCCER
- HARVEST
- MANUFACTURES
- SPANGRAM: AUTUMN
