NEW Strands today (game #690) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #690, are…
- HAPPINESS
- ECSTASY
- CLEAN UP
- EUPHORIA
- RHAPSODY
- SPANGRAM: SEVENTHHEAVEN
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 3 hints
I didn’t get much sleep last night so I really struggled to focus on today’s letter soup and needed three hints to get me over the line – and that was after I saw BLISS in my normal starting spot in the left corner.
So with only five keywords, my success rate, including the spanram, was a terrible 50%.
My deplorable viewing made me stream Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Along with Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty and Breakfast in America by Supertramp is one of those 1970s songs I hate to admit I really like.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Wednesday, January 21, Game #689)
- GLOAT
- TEASE
- BURP
- SHOUT
- STARE
- POINT
- INTERRUPT
- SPANGRAM: DONTBERUDE
