It might say a lot about me that I breezed through yesterday’s crossword-themed Strands, but labored to get to the end of this cleaning-based search. Regardless, I think this was a particularly difficult game.
“Out, damned place!” was a curious theme, and which initially made me wonder if I was missing a pop culture reference – a line from 101 Dalmatians perhaps?
Even after SPRAY, SCRUB and BLOT the crown didn’t drop and it took me a hint to move on. I also found the spanframe harder to find than usual. Rather like cleaning tasks, I couldn’t wait for it all to be over.
