NEW Strands today (game #632) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #632, are…
- ACME
- PEAK
- SUMMIT
- PINNACLE
- PEAK
- HEIGHT
- ZENITH
- SPAN FRAME: UPPER LIMIT
- My assessment: Hard
- My score: 2 hints
I had no idea what we would be looking for from the theme so I started hoping I would find something while searching the board.
Even non-game words were hard to come by today, but I eventually found enough to give me a few hints. ACME meant nothing to me other than being the company Wile E. Coyote bought his dodgy gadgets from for his attempt to catch the Road Runner.
My next tip word APEX was more helpful and the ear finally dropped. SUMMIT, PINNACLE and PEAK came next before I finally saw the spanframe – top marks for being placed on the UPPER Boundary of today’s grid.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Monday, November 24, Game #631)
- GROOM
- JOCKEY
- WRANGLER
- VETERINARIAN
- FARRIER
- SPANGRAM: RISTERS
