The theme made me think of buildings and I thought I was on the right track when I got sprouted right away after starting my search in the left corner. Next, I got a bow and was convinced that we were looking for parts of buildings.
The span framed came after I thought I got two words that were not games before I put them together and realized I was on the wrong track. From here I hit a wall and struggled to find something.
Two tips gave me mesa and butte, which was very useful as these are two types of formation that were unknown to me. From here I was able to end the board.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
