Anyone who has spent a life time watching Star Trek Across its several generations it would have been fist pumping and to mouth the words “finally” when they played today’s game.
For the rest of us, it was a coincidence of finding the names of things that sounded like they could possibly be spaceships from the show – Enterprise and Voyager were the only ones I knew with certainty. That said, I didn’t need any tip, so I think they went on us easily.
And top marks to produce the tension in the form of Starfleet Insignia. Live long and bloom, friends.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
