New -threads today (game #498) – the answers
The answers to today’s threads, game #498, is …
- TEACHER
- MAYOR
- JANITOR
- LIBRARIAN
- Fireman
- Spanggram: Community
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 tip
Although the teacher was easy to spot-to hang out very visible in the upper left corner-residue of today’s response made up the word search challenge.
With the exception of the mayor, every word was hard to train, with the caretaker who took me for a while – though I can use a cultural differences apology here when I am in England and we call this profession a caretaker.
That said I am very familiar with the word thanks to the opening titles of the Hanna Barbera Commerce Hong Kong Phooey And its introduction of “Henry the Mild, as the Caretaker”.
Meanwhile, after a run with sensible, straight and short tension, we have returned to experimentation with today’s yellow snake that ends in the middle of the puzzle. Crazy.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
Yesterday’s new strings answer (Sunday 13th July, Game #497)

- COTTON
- Rayon
- Polyester
