A wonderful search full of lovely vegan proteins. Something that will come as a surprise to many who would not consider not eating meat because of the perceived lack of protein. In truth, there are plenty of alternatives.
Question: How do you know when someone is vegan? Answer: They tell you that.
Everyone has different dietary requirements, but there is something about being a vegan that means you have to tell people within a minute after meeting them regardless of your proximity to food, but just in case they pull a pork chop out of their pockets or start to fit that shine of wing stops.
I say this as a former vegan full time and now part -time vegan (cheese is my weakness). I prefer vegan food but will eat the occasional sausage or tin with the tuna position that seems to irritate both vegans and non-vegans. Maybe I should keep quiet about it.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
