I hated this game. None of these words meant anything to me, and my first three game words gave me nothing to control me in the right direction-I got the first two thanks to double-fs and from there took some tips.
In the end, it didn’t matter as my knowledge of sports did not extend to SportsGoof, but I got the general idea.
Instead, today’s game became a random word search, and I fumbled, hops and flattered my way to the exhausting end of it.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
