I first discovered the excitement of superheroes before I went looking for characters from the Marvel universe -a nice touch to make the letters shape an S shape.
I have trouble remembering who is part of the DC family and who is wonder (excuses) and the one I was sure of-spider-man-was not part of the search (possibly because of the annoying hyphen).
I don’t have to have worried myself as you didn’t have to have any cartoon knowledge to complete today’s search; None of the words were particularly difficult to loosen and required some expertise.
That said, I got the two most famous first in Hulk and Wolverine before moving on to the lower level of superherodom.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
