After initially taking the theme literally and looking for app names, this puzzle revealed itself very easily and was everywhere faster than an ironing left.
Despite having zero experience with online dating, the terminology is common and through friends and family, I have experienced many of the dangers and psychological trauma of dating apps, as well as the happiness they bring.
My friend met their partner via an app, despite many years of bad that mouthed them, after about five minutes of creating his profile. Even more ridiculously lucky it was also their first time to use an app and his was the first photo they clicked on. They are made for each other and I doubt they would have met any other way.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
