I found that today’s threads really difficult. First, because hyphens always put me in a core panic that I am unsure whether to use them or not – it is one of the biggest differences between us and British English.
Secondly, after getting the excitement I could only see a jumble of letter ls and ys.
Even with the help of two tips, I still struggled to put together the words – there were so many ways to do Willy Nilly and I explored them all!
Despite its difficulty, this was a fun search and very satisfying to end shortly after pulling my hair out and screaming into a bucket.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
