The biggest challenge for me today was to connect letters from the foulist difficult Leprechaun. Apart from that, I couldn’t have wished for a lighter thread.
Seeing the letter x in the puzzle is always a great help, and it proved it, helping me to find Pixie to start the hunt.
Among the hints were beer, and Hobgobin happens to be the name of a British beer brand. Maybe this was just a happy accident, maybe there’s an ale-head on the beach’s hq, or maybe I’m just thirsty.

What is new strings?
Strands is Nyt’s new word game after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta, so it is a fully developed member of Nyt’s Games Stable and can be played on the new Games site on desktop or mobile.
