New -threads today (game #423) – the answers
The answers to today’s threads, game #423, is …
- Eyes
- Dressed
- SMILE
- COUPLE
- ATHLETE
- Friends
- HAIR
- Spangram: Yearbook
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: Perfect
It took me a long time to realize that today’s beach search was a yearbook or to be precise senior superlatives in yearbooks.
The first correct word I got was eyes, so I thought we could be looking for dogs, which was my first lunch from the theme “Best in class” – though “Best in Show” search wasn’t that long ago, so it would have been a quick repetition.
Fortunately, I was not to go through the humiliation of yearbooks and have my mullet forever wrapped in print on printed.
Although I get their charm as time capsules, I know I would have been voted “most likely to blast their way through life” rather than any of the ego-boosting categories in today’s search.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
Yesterday’s new strings response (Tuesday, April 29, Game #422)

- TORTOISE
- WALNUT
- Nuclear
- Nautilus
- Armadillo
- Spanggram: Shells
