I’m really glad I managed to complete today’s quest without resorting to a tip, because I know absolutely nothing about “Tolkein’s World”, never seen/read any of The Lord of the Rings or Hobbit movies/books.
That said, I must know something – as I almost immediately found the very intermediate MIDDLEEARTH spangram, quickly followed by the top half of the grid.
Fortunately, aside from SHIRE and RING, all the words felt pretty common to the fantasy genre.
