The answers to today’s Strands, game #608, are…
- DELICIOUS
- DELICIOUS
- TASTY
- DELICIOUS
- SPANGRAM: GOOD TASTE
- My assessment: Hard
- My score: 1 tip
There were only four words and a spangram in today’s game, but we had to work hard to find them; At least I did!
After finding half a dozen non-play words and mistakenly thinking our task was to find words associated with good manners, I took a hint and DELICIOUS set me on my way.
It took me many attempts at different spellings, but I finally found SCRUMPTIOUS – a word whose most famous appearance is in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song Really delicious – make it much easier TASTY and DELICIOUS.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Friday, October 31, Game #607)
- SKULL
- FEMU
- FIBULA
- ULNA
- RADIUS
- STERNUM
- HUMERUS
- FRAME: SKELETON
