New -threads today (game #586) – the answers
The answers to today’s threads, game #586, is …
- Ragout
- Chili
- Gumbo
- The stew
- Jambalaya
- Tagine
- Goulash
- Spanggram: Onepot
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
I’m pretty glad I got through today’s search without resorting to a tip as it contained some difficult words – of which several I only knew from Carpenters’ song Jambalaya (at Bayou) – Crawfish Pie, which is remarkable by its absence.
My original thought in connection with the word game “I’m a Ladle Hungry” was soup, but after seeing Ragout I knew we were looking for something a little more comprehensive; Soup is hardly the kind of thing you need if you’re hungry.
It took me two go to get chili when I chose L and I in the wrong order, but the less hitch aside I navigated this difficult game without a hiccup, which is something I always suffer from when I eat a chili!
Yesterday’s new strings answer (Thursday, October 9, Game #585)
- Clothing
- Charger
- Laptop
- Toiletries
- Headphones
- Spanggram: Packitup
