If you’ve never eaten Enoki fungi (Flammulina Filiformis, for any Latin readers), I highly recommend them, especially if you like Asian food.
Mushrooms are either ass ugly or sweet. With their thin stems and the cartoon-like little heads, Enoki decreases in the sweet category.
Meanwhile, the trougen is decided in the ugly pile. What they lack in appearance, they make up for incredible taste, but they quickly become the “salted caramel” in the tasty world. You can now get truffle added to everything from chips to cheese.
I’m not complaining, I just fear that there are not enough truffles to walk around, especially considering how hard they are to harvest (traditionally with a truffle hunt), which makes me suspect that we have been overtaken by fake truffles.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s new word game after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta, so it is a fully developed member of Nyt’s Games Stable and can be played on the new Games site on desktop or mobile.
