Today we were looking for three pairs of words that made up the titles of dystopian novels (Animal FarmAt Fun Gamesand Handmaid’s speech) – Not that I realized this originally.
It was only before I got animals and connected it to the farm that ear fell. Before then, I wasn’t sure what the theme “a strange new world” meant.
A dystopian novel is defined as a story set in a fictional society or the world, often characterized by an oppressive regime and state or religious control after a collapse of some kind.
As is the case with all three of today’s elections, they also reflect the time when they were written and carry warnings about possible futures when we will be too busy trying to survive to pass on time on word puzzles.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
