It was possibly my lucky break that I saw spanged before anything else today, and immediately went in search of words associated with game games.
Not sure what drawing is in there, but I guess it is drawn to draw in lotteries and bingo so we allow it.
Incredibly, I got competitions without S as a non-game word before I realized my mistake. A good job in today’s search was not for taxation.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
