After fearing that today’s search would have something to do with sports draft, I was relieved to be on the more solid reason of alcoholic beverages and especially beer.
Cunningly contained the grid the word beer – but it wasn’t one of the answers. Crafty, Crafty …
I struggled to get started and the word tip gave me – angry – didn’t help much. It was only before I discovered stock that I knew what I was doing. Bock and Nitro were both new beery words for me, although I have seen both incorporated into German beer brands.
All in all, thirsty work.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
