New York Yankees -Manager Aaron Boone responded on Sunday to the heartbreaking Revelation Brett Gardner and his wife, Jessica, did about their youngest son, Miller.
Miller Gardner died after being ill while on vacation with his family, the Gardner family said in a statement released through Yankees. Details of where the Gardner family vacationed and what Miller died of was unclear.

“We’re talking about being family all the time, and even though Brett has been away for a few years, it doesn’t stop,” Boone told journalists via the New York Post. “Many people in there [the clubhouse] That knows that family intimately. It’s a very hard day and very hard news. “
Boone said that all the team could do now is to offer support to Gardner and his family during the trying time.
“As best we can, we pray for the Gardner family and where we can, and offer support,” Boone added. “It’s kind of the unimaginable who unfortunately is here we are with it. Very sad. Very tough.”

The tragic revelation was made earlier Sunday. Gardner played for Yankees from 2008 to 2021, including years under Boone.
“With heavy hearts, we are sorry to announce the transition to our youngest son, Miller. “We have so many questions and so few answers at this time, but we know he died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, March 21.
“Miller was a beloved son and brother, and we are yet to understand our lives without his contagious smile. He loved football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and his friends. He lived life to life every single day.”

The Gardner family thanked those who have shown support for them and asked for privacy.
