Rawal Pindi: New Zealand has won the throw and chosen for field first in the Champions Trophy 2025 match against Bangladesh, who was played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Monday.

To ensure a smooth case, the Rawal Pindi police have deployed over 5,000 officers into security tasks, while more than 350 traffic officers control the traffic flow.
The Rawal Pindi Central police officer said a special control room had been set up to monitor the events with safe city cameras and other CCTV systems that keep an eye on the stadium and Garrison City.
He said that snipers had been strategically placed on the rooftops along the route and around the stadium, while police, dolphin power and elite force units are actively patrolling.
Spectators only gain access after reviewing through review gates and full body searches, he added.
The police officer also said that in accordance with security protocols, parking outside designated areas was strictly prohibited.
Meanwhile, senior officials conduct regular security briefings and inspections to ensure that the fool -proof events, coordinated with the Pakistani army, rankers and other security agencies.
Fans participating in the match should note that power banks, hands -free devices, airpods, foods and any prohibited items will not be allowed inside the stadium.
