The NFL plays seven international matches during the 2025 season and there is some history involved on several levels.
Almost all the games involved and teams were announced on Tuesday and each destination is set.
London, who has been the sight of NFL season matches since 2007, will have three competitions. The NFL is also on its way back to Brazil and Germany, while two countries have its first taste of regular seasonal football this year.

Dublin, Ireland and Madrid, Spain will also host teams fighting for Vince Lombardi Trophy next season. Here is the full overview of who should play in each game:
- Week 1: TBA vs. Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo (September 5)
- Week 4: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Minnesota Vikings in Dublin (September 28)
- Week 5: Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns in London (October 5)
- Week 6: Denver Broncos against the New York Jets in London (October 12)
- Week 7: Los Angeles Rams vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London (October 19
- Week 10: Atlanta Falcons against Indianapolis Colts in Berlin (9 November)
- Week 11: Miami Dolphins vs. Washington Commanders in Madrid (November 16)

It was reported that Kansas City Chiefs had to travel to Brazil to meet their AFC vestrival chargers, though the message with exact opponents should come on Wednesday.
It is also worth noting that the Vikings will be the first team in the NFL story to play in two separate countries on back-to-back weeks. Their dynamic violation, which is expected to be led by JJ McCarthy next season, will be at full view in Ireland and the UK early in the schedule.

Continuing the global initiative is what the NFL has done a point in doing, and it includes increasing the number of international games on the regular seasonal schedule.
London was the most important hub of building the NFL fandom, but by 2022 the league also began to make its presence known in Germany. Falcons-Colts-Matchup will be the fifth game played in the country since that year.
Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers made history this last season with a game in São Paulo, who was the start of Saquon Barkley’s offensive player in the year season with his new team.

And while the league is excited to see games in two different countries this season, there is already a plan in place to get one down in Melbourne, Australia in 2026.
