Los Angeles Chargers star Khalil Mack suffered a cruel arm injury early in the team’s match against Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night.
Mack and his teammate Troy Dye chased Raiders wide receive three tucks towards the end of the first quarter. Mack’s left arm seemed to be jammed under dye as they both went after the ball.

Star Pass-Rusher immediately got out of the game when the quarter ended. Chargers initially said Mack was questionable to return due to an elbow injury, but was buried out after he was seen on the sidelines with his pillows away and the arm in a sling.

The chargers were a top defense last season where they first finished in allowed points and 11. At yards allowed on the way to an 11-6 record and a joker sign.

It would be a huge blow to the charger’s defense if the team loses Mack in a significant amount of time. Charger’s principal coach Jim Harbaugh said Mack will undergo imaging tests.
Chargers won the game, 20-9.
The linebacker earned the ninth Pro Bowl choice of his career last season with chargers and his fourth consecutive nod. He played in 16 games and recorded six sacks and 39 tackles. He also had nine passport breakdowns and two forced fumbles.
Bud Dupree and Kyle Kennard were listed as Mack’s backups on chargers’ depth cards.

Mack was traded for chargers before the 2022 season from Chicago Bears. He is considered one of the early greatness of the linebacker position. He was named Pro Football Hall of Fame’s All-20110S team.
