NFL Draft Results: Giants Take QB Jaxson Dart after Blockbuster -Handel

New York Giants has taken former Ole Miss Quarterback Jaxson Dart with No. 25 selection in the NFL draft after trading with Houston Texans.

Giants were linked to Darts in the weeks leading up to the draft, but was not expected to use their third overall choice for him and is believed to make a trade in the first first round to choose him.

The son of Giant’s General Manager Joe Schoen caused speculation this week that the organization would work out a quarterback after he reportedly shared a video of darts on social media.

This last season, DART was an average of 329.2 passing yards per year. Fight – Third Best in NCAA. In total, he went to 4,279 yards, 29 touchdowns and only six captures, led the rebels to a 10-3 overall record and fourth place in SEC.

He also turned out to be a legitimate running threat with 495 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

At. 21 he will be the youngest QB in the NFL in the 2025 season.

Darts were not projected as a safe fire first round pick after the NFL season. But his stock rose during the draft.

During passing exercises at NFL Combine, Darts 18 of 23 went and would have had even more finishes, if not for a few drops of his broad recipients. He highlighted the arm power and precision on each row of the pass, which proved that he could make every throw in the NFL.

Dart, an Ole Miss Alum, shares an Alma Mater with Giants franchisian legend Eli Manning.

Now Dart will step in as Giants’ presumed quarterback of the future and look like to live up to Manning’s inheritance.
