New York Giants jumped back in the first round to get their quarterback of the future, and social media is shared on how to see the choice.
Instead of taking Colorado Buffaloes Star and Heisman Trophy finalist Shedeur Sanders, Giants traded with Houston Texans to take Ole Miss Quarterback Jaxson Dart on No. 25 overall.
Now Dart was always considered a person who could go ahead of Sanders. But when Pittsburgh Steelers, a team of desperate need for a quarterback, Derrick Harmon took out of Oregon at No. 21, no one knew where any of these two prospects were to land.

But Giants traded their number 34 and 99 elections in this year’s draft, as well as a 2026 third round election to get back in the first round and take the double threat quarterback from the rebels.
One of the immediate reactions to social media was the comparison with Daniel Jones, released by New York this last season to end a roller coaster.

“Shedeur Sanders is so much better than Jaxson Dart,” he twitly twited in all caps. “This is just ridiculously sad.”
But there were also those like ESPN NFL analyst and former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III who tried to look at it from both views.

“You don’t have to hate Jaxson Dart to support poor Sanders,” he twited.
Jon the gravel, the long -time NFL head coach, who now covers the sport of Barstool Sports, also showed his love for Dart’s toughness.
“New York Giants fans … You get a hard sob!” He said over a video of the two of them breaking some films from Ole Miss’s season. “Congratulations to Jaxson Dart!”
The memes, of course, began to stroll in, but this side by side of the moment Giants chose Dart says it all about two separate NFL drafts for two quarterbacks.
Sanders was not selected with the remaining elections in the first round, which means he has to wait until 1 p.m. 19 on Friday to see where he might have been on his way in the second or third round.
Dart said with the media after being elected and said he has been in contact with Giants head coach Brian Daboll throughout this draft process. However, these texts began to die out two weeks ago.
In the end, Daboll is his head coach.

This quarterback is Russell Wilson, who signed as a free agent with New York and is expected to start week 1 for New York. Jameis Winston, another veterans signal call, is also on the depth card, giving darts more brains to pick apart in the quarterbacks room.
