Shedeur Sanders’ slide from a projected choice of first round for a possible choice of fifth round proved to be the most polarizing topic in the NFL draft this weekend.

ESPN Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. was one of the shocked defenders of Sanders and was shocked by his fall to Cleveland Browns. The annoyed TV station held on teams after Sanders was elected, and that led to a clash between him and his colleague -colleague received Davis.

NFL analyst Louis Riddick explained to Kiper that the question was not about Sanders could play quarterback, but from a team perspective if they want him to play the position.

Kiper, confused, couldn’t understand why a team wouldn’t have Sanders, considering he’s “one of the toughest quarterbacks you’ve ever seen.” Riddick replied, “This is personal,” about the reason why Sanders fell. Kiper added that Sanders has not had an “off-the-Field problem.”

Davis then agreed with Riddick when he said “the draft has spoken.”

“It’s the key, flour. It does not put a value -judgment that adopted, was right or wrong. They did it. So now, when you are in the circumstances of life, whether you like them, whether you do not like them, whether they are righteous or they are unfair, you may be able to tackle them,” Davis said. “And now it’s tackling Sanders to tackle them.

“And for whatever reason, whether he played a minute, microscopic percentage, zero percentage, or it is a legitimate criticism of the way he performed himself during the draft process, this was the result. Now he has an opportunity to answer it. I think it is not productive to shout about it.”

Kiper put Onus on the league for his lack of proper evaluation when it came to quarterbacks.

“Boomer Esiason wasn’t happy when he was another round pick,” Kiper said. “Tom Brady wasn’t happy. They fell. How did they turn out? My point is, received, NFL has been clueless for 50 years when it comes to evaluating quarterbacks. Clueless.

“They have no idea what they are doing in terms of evaluation of quarterbacks. It’s proof. There’s a proof of that. They can say, ‘We know exactly what we’re talking about with quarterbacks.’ They do not.

The debate continued from there as Kiper defended Sanders to radiate confidence prior to the draft.
