Shedeur Sanders may be one of the best players available in the NFL draft, but where he eventually lands more overwhelmed the moment the event is ahead.

The former Colorado Buffaloes Quarterback put together a solid year in his last season with the team that led the BIG 12 conference with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdown passes.

He was named the big 12 offensive player of the year.

With hours to go before he possibly heard his name called in the first round, Sanders hyped himself up.

“Legendary,” he posted on X on Thursday morning.

He added, “I’m built for what today may bring.”

Opinions from Sanders have been very different. He has been considered one of the best players in the draft, while others have said that there is nothing special about him and he could turn into a “fringe starts.”

He rejected the critics weeks before the draft.

“Well, everyone is trying to make my stock fall right now, so who knows it, man?” Said Sanders in March. “You know just how life will be. But that’s what it is. It’s fooled gold. It’s not right. Don’t (they) media.”

In February, he made his case as a franchise-changing quarterback.

“We went from Jackson State to Colorado and changed two programs back-to-back. You don’t think I could get to an NFL franchise and change a program again? That’s story, it will always repeat itself,” Sanders said.

“If you don’t try to change the franchise or culture, don’t get me. Then you need to know that the story is repeating itself again and again and I have done it again and again, so there should be no doubt why the NFL franchises should choose me.”

A key to turning a franchise around is a strong leadership, as Colorado Star Quarterback said is his best trait.

“I would say to be a leader, it is my best trait in general because everything is mentally. So if I play my game from my neck up, I was able to adapt to my players, to make them have relatability for them to get to know me, for us to do everything smooth. People and that people and make everything a real, “” said “.

“That’s why I interact with people here, I love to interact with people so they can really get to know me and not just know clicks or something similar.”
