The former University of Colorado star admitted that he and his family “did not expect” what happened on Thursday night, in footage sent by his brother Deion Sanders Jr., it seems that Quarterback seems to be holding a positive attitude and expecting to be drafted Friday.

Still suggested Quarterback of possibly knowing that he might not be selected in the first round earlier on Thursday. Hours before the draft, Sanders made a social media post that insisted that he was prepared for what happened in the first round.
“I’m built for what today had to bring,” he wrote.
What the day brought was a surprising slide for Sanders and a buck to his father and college coach’s expectations.
The NFL Hall of Famer and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders previously insisted that Shedeur would be a top-five choice when he entered the draft of an X-post in May 2024. This post received a community note on Thursday after the shedur slipped.
Two other quarterbacks were taken in the first round while the shedur was waiting to hear his name called. Tennessee Titans took the former Miami Quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall choice, and New York Giants acted back to the first round of No. 25 to take former Ole Miss Quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Several other teams that have a need for quarterback, including Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers, also advanced to Sanders.

This happened despite the fact that Sanders led the BIG 12 conference with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdown passes and was named the big 12 offensive player of the year. In his 50 college games, Sanders threw 14,347 yards, 134 touchdowns and 27 interceptions.
But his value came in doubt in weeks that led to the draft in the midst of concern over his character.
An anonymous NFL coach recently told NFL network That Sanders was “the worst formal interview I’ve ever been II my life.”
“He is so justified. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has terrible body language. He accuses teammates,” the coach continued. “But the biggest thing is that he is not so good.”

Another long -time AFC director repeated that mood and told the sales, “It did not go well in our interview. He will dictate what he will do and what is best for him. He makes you feel small.”
These concerns and criticism took their toll on Quarterback’s draft stock as he now has to just hear his name on day two, at the earliest.
