NFL Draft: Titans Tip Hand with the latest decision on Shedur Sanders

Tennessee Titans may have just revealed to everyone they make with the first overall choice.

Cam Ward has long been considered the favorite to be the top choice and it seems that will be the case.

The titans were scheduled to have a private workout with Colorado Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who was at one point considered in front of Ward.

But Ward has separated in recent weeks from the package and there is speculation, Sanders even falls on draft boards. Jaxson Dart is widely considered the third best QB in the draft.

The Titans and Sanders agreed to cancel the private training after the team participated in his pro day, according to Jim Wyatt from the team’s official website.

Wyatt noted that the titans have had eyes on Sanders for a long time and watched four years of game movies. The team, Wyatt said, also thought he was “very impressive” on his pro -day.

So maybe they were convinced to take Sanders after his pro -day, but given what has happened, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Sanders and Travis Hunter, both probably top five choices, played major roles in turning Buffaloes football program after transferring there from Jackson State to follow Sanders’ father, Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.

With his superstardom on both sides of the ball, Hunter Heisman won Trophy. Sanders owns the FBS record for constantly for completion rate of 71.8%. He led Big 12 with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns with a 74% completion rate.

The speculation is that New York Giants, who owns the third overall choice, are big fans of Sanders. Sanders got a few giants clumsy in front of the Alamo Bowl when Giants had No. 1 choice, but they beat Indianapolis Colts in week 17 to fall into the draft.
