Former LSU -offensive Lineman Will Campbell could be one of the first players taken in the NFL draft next month, but part of the process seemed to be too much.
Campbell questioned questions about his arm measurements after he attended LSU Pro Day.
His arm’s length on Wednesday measured 33 inches, which was longer than the 32 5/8 inches he entered scouting last month, according to NFL.com.

He pushed back on whether arm measurement would result in the success of the pros.
“For two years, no measurements had on me and no one said anything about my game,” he said via the 33rd. “So now, suddenly, an arm’s length decides whether I’m a good player or not? I think it’s BS”
“Any decision makers in the NFL, they don’t care-all people who don’t train, and they don’t train for a reason.”

Campbell is expected to be one of the first offensive lineman taken into the draft. At least one mock draft caused him to be taken at No. 4 of New England Patriots.
He was a consensus All-American and the winner of Jacobs Blocking Trophy in 2024. He was a first team of all-SEC selection in 2023 and 2024 and another team of all-SEC selection in 2022. He has been a start tackle since his first year’s season at LSU.

Any team of desperate need for an upgrade in the tackle spot would be close to Campbell.
