Cooper Kupp, MVP in 2022 Super Bowl, reportedly agreed to sign with Seattle Seahawks after being released by the division’s rival Rival Los Angeles Rams earlier this week. Kupp’s agreement is reportedly for three years and $ 45 million.
Kupp is on his way to his home state of Washington to join forces with Seattle’s new quarterback, Sam Darnold, and will fill a void left by the dk Metcalf, which was traded for Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
Kupp revealed in a social media post last month that Rams “immediately sought a trade and will work with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships.”
However, no trading partner was found, so he was released.

Kupp admitted that he did not “agree with the decision and always thought it would begin and end in LA”
Kupp, who will be 32 years in June, has been hampered by injuries ever since the registration of a receiving Triple Crown in 2022 and won the Super Bowl MVP. He has played on only 33 of possible 51 matches in the last three seasons. And while he has been productive, he has taken a back seat to Puka Nacua.

Kupp was a third -round choice of rams In 2017 Out of eastern Washington.
In his season 2022 he caught 145 passes for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. Since then he has 201 catches for 2,259 yards and 17 scores.

His 710 receiving yards last year was his lowest since he set 566 in 2018, a season in which he missed half the matches. He has not played in over 12 games since the 2022 campaign and has not darkened the 1,000-yard brand since then.
“I’ve taken so much pride in playing with my teammates to the LA community, so thank you for embracing my family and making this such a special place for us,” Kupp said on social media last month. “2024 began with one of the best training camps in my career. Preparations now start in 2025. Very motivated, as healthy as ever and look forward to playing elite football in the coming years. Love you … but will come for it all.”
Kupp ends up to rise the wide recipient Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Seattle, and Darnold gets a stable veteran to lean on in his first season in Seattle.
