Week 4 of the NFL season experienced a number of endings, two of which were seasonal ending.
Malik Nabers and Tirek Hill tore both of their ACLs, Trey Benson injured his knee, and Lamar Jackson finely tuned a hamstring, just to name a few.
In Nabers ‘case, this injury occurred to what has become a notorious grass surface at Metlife Stadium, which has also demanded other players’ seasons for serious injuries, including several ACL and Achilles taces.

The NFL Players Association has called for all fields to be grass, but plenty of stadiums have been slow with shopping.
However, the legendary NFL recipient Larry Fitzgerald, who never played fewer than 13 games in one season and played in each game in 13 of his 17 campaigns, does not feel that the implementation of grass on all 30 NFL stadiums is even possible.
“I don’t think it’s possible in most places. I mean Metlife Stadium is probably used 100 days a year and only 20 of them are for football matches. You host Bruce Springsteen concerts, Monster Truck Rallies. I just don’t think the grass would do well in that environment,” Fitzgerald Pakinomist told Digital in a recent interview.

Fitzgerald also noted that the nature of football sometimes results in damage regardless of the surface, the long -standing wide recipient said.
“I was on the 49ers cardinal game, and I saw James Conner breaking his ankle on grass. I saw Nick Bosa blow his acl on grass. When you have 300 pounds of people running into each other at full speed, these are strong, physical dudes. If they played in bubble wrap, the fire would be injured.”
Hill’s injury occurred on the grass, but it is easy to say that the nature of the tackle resulted in his injury. Bosa also tore his ACL at Metlife Stadium.
It should be noted that Fitzgerald played his home matches at the State Farm Stadium with Arizona Cardinals, which has extractable grass. And yet, it is also where Benson suffered an injury that required surgery.
However, Turf has typically been more likely to cite soft bites, which the NFLPA has quoted.

Half of the league’s stadiums use Turf, despite NFLPA Managing Director Lloyd Howell, who says 92% of the league players prefer grass.
