Before they became legends on the Gridiron, every NFL legend was a humble rookie in the hope of influencing their team.
As the 2025 NFL -Rookie class is prepared for their first crack by doing just that, some of these legends surprised them thanks to fanatics.
The real shock led to some strong feelings from this year’s rookies.

NFL Legends including Tom Brady, Barry Sanders, Joe Montana, Peyton and Eli Manning, Tim Brown and Jerry Rice composed all surprise videos for some of the best rookies in the draft.
Fanatics shared the moment the Tennessee Titan’s first overall choice, quarterback Cam Ward, so Brady appear on screen to give him some wise words.

“You will grow in ways you couldn’t even imagine and I will look at, and I always pull after you,” Brady said.
“Just crazy for the biggest player of all time to send me such a video,” Ward replied after watching Brady’s video.
Brady also released some advice to New England Patriots Receiver Kyle Williams, who couldn’t hold back his feelings as he looked under his seat and found a Brady-tuned jersey-equivalent.

Each rookie got a video and a signed jersey from either a legend playing for their team, or a current veteran playing their position.
Take Los Angeles Rams Star Render Puka Nacua, who talks to colleague Hawaii recipient, Tetairoa McMillan of Carolina Panthers. Rice also spoke with Jacksonville Jaguars Tovejs Star Travis Hunter.
“I wasn’t the most talented guy out there, but I had my work ethics and I wouldn’t let anyone leave me,” Rice told Hunter.
“Way to be a top-five choice, man. We talked about it. You did it. Congratulations,” said Dalla’s Cowboys Star Edge Rusher Micah Parsons for New York Giants Rookie Abdul Carter, a colleague Penn State product who will be his rival now.

And Carter’s new teammate driving back Cam Tax Living couldn’t hold back his tears after hearing Eddie George give him encouraging words.
As these rookies continue to grind in training camp, they will be mushrooms and soften in all the advice and information they can get to make sure they go the right way to reach the heights these legends came to.
