Los Angeles Chargers, who drove back Najee Harris, was involved in a fireworks’ accident at a July 4th event, Agent Doug Hendrickson said Thursday.
Harris, who went into his first year of chargers, sustained a “superficial eye injury”, but is expected to be ready for the NFL season, Hendrickson added.
“Najee Harris was present at a July 4th event where a fireworks’ accident resulted in damage to several participants. Najee sustained a superficial eye damage during the incident, but is expected to be fully ready for the upcoming NFL season,” the ESPN states.

It was not clear who the other participants were or what their injuries were.

Harris signed a one -year deal that is allegedly worth $ 5.25 million with chargers in high season. He is in a back field with Hassan Haskins, Kimani Vidal, Jarret Patterson and Rookie Omarion Hampton.
Pittsburgh Steelers chose Harris in the first round of the 2021 draft. He played in and started every game since he went into the league. He ran in 4,312 yards and 28 touchdowns in 68 games.

The chargers received 1,882 yards and an average of 110.7 yards per day. Match. JK Dobbins led chargers with 905 yards, and Gus Edwards ran in 365 yards. Vidal had 155 rushing yards, and Haskins had 89.
