While Jacksonville Jaguars ‘Quarterback Trevor Lawrence made a huge effort to score the winning touchdown, Kansas City Chief’s Star Defensive Tackle Chris Jones showed little efforts in Jaguars’ 31-28 victory.

Jaguars were down 28-24 with 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter of Monday night at Everbank Stadium, but the violation was on the one-yard line.

Lawrence went to, but was stepped on by his offensive lineman and fell. He shrank up on his feet, threw a tackle and then dived into the final zone for a touchdown.

Jones, on the other hand, tried to hurry passers -by, but when he saw Lawrence go down, he mingled against him, but so inexplicably stopped pursuing him. Jones took a few steps towards the striking Lawrence and then stood at and saw him score.

“I thought we had him several times,” said Jones Postgame of the play. “We just have to be done. We have to be done. More guys there that we just have to end that game. It was a fluke game for him to be able to break so many tackles. Yes, I put it on us as a defense. We have to be done. We have to bring him down on it.”

Fans called Jones out for his efforts online.

Chiefs fell to 2-3 with the loss, and Patrick Mahomes regretted the team’s matches they’ve had this season.

“It’s just talking about the whole whole season,” Mahomes said of the mistakes and sanctions that have contributed to their fight. “I feel we have the guys and we have executed at certain points in the game and looked really good, and then we crushed ourselves with sanctions and mistakes and eavesdropping and fumbling or whatever it is.”

“It’s just that we’ve done it for ourselves all year round. It’s been a guy here or there, and in this league it’s so close that these change games. We had to do better. We’ve already lost too many games. We got to find a way to be better as a team and get together and play better for the rest of the season.”

Jones has been a pillar in the team’s success as he has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last six seasons. This season in five games, Jones has a sack and seven combined tackles.

For the bosses to turn things around, they need Jones to be best. Their next game is against the Detroit Lions (4-1) Sunday at. 20.20 et.
