President Donald Trump may have predicted that it would be Kansas City Chiefs to remember a Super Bowl title in the White House this year – and after all, he may be correct.
Chiefs were unable to do well with Trump’s Super Bowl Lix elections, and did not come to their search for Threepeat with a 40-22 loss to Philadelphia Eagles. Those will be the birds that visit Trump later this month to celebrate their victory in February.
However, Trump said late last month that members of the Super Bowl Life Championship team kicking off the current chiefs dynasty will eventually take the trip to Washington, DC, “because they missed their turn because of Covid.”

Chiefs defeated San Francisco 49ers in the game played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, in February 2020. A month later, the sports world was closed when Covid-19 spread across the globe.
It’s not clear if Trump and Chiefs have spoken, but team owner Clark Hunt got Wind of the News and didn’t take it for granted.

“We are very honored that the president would think of us and go back to the 2019 season when we did not go to the White House,” Hunt said at the NFL owner meeting this week. “We definitely want to try to figure out how to make it happen.”

Florida Panthers visited Trump earlier this year to commemorate their Stanley Cup win last summer, and Los Angeles Dodgers, the reigning World Series winners, will visit the White House next Sunday.
