NFL News: Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, Andy Reid has heated moment

Kansas City Chiefs Star Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid seemed to flush heads on the sidelines after one of the last drives of half against New York Giants on Sunday night.

Kelce had a catch for minus-2 meters, and the drive ended up with Harrison Butker missing a 40-yard field goal. The NBC broadcast showed that Kelce and Reid came face to face. Reid threw the shoulder into the tight the end of the star as he walked off the field.

Reid said the feeling was “good.”

“We need a little juice,” he told NBC’s Melissa Stark.

The two columns in Chiefs’ franchise had a similar incident during the Super Bowl LVIII against San Francisco 49ers.

It’s unclear what the two talked on Sunday night, but Kelce was having a hard time in the first half. He and Patrick Mahomes also seemed out when Quarterback threw a dink of a passport just beyond Kelce’s reach.

He had three catches of seven goals in 13 yards at half. Chiefs led at the break, 9-6.

Kelce was facing criticism last week when a care when he was away from his hands in the arms of a Philadelphia Eagles’ defends in the final zone. The play ended essentially Chiefs’ chance to get some revenge on Eagles after Philadelphia won the Super Bowl Lix.

Coming into the game against Giants, Kelce has six catches in 108 yards and a touchdown. Kansas City had not yet won a game during the 2025 season.
