For Dallas Cowboys and their fans, it’s super bowl or bust every season.

Cowboys haven’t made an NFC championship game, so much less a Super Bowl, since the 1995 season. Dallas has only done it as far as the divisional round and has been removed seven times. The team was removed in the Wild Card Round six times.

The 2025 season is really no different. Cowboys come with high expectations with a healthy organization behind DAK Prescott. The team has a new coach in Brian Schottenheimer on the sidelines in his first season as a head coach.

Cowboy’s offensive Lineman Tyler Smith said the Super Bowl expectations remain the same.

“Super Bowl masters,” he told journalists in California before the training camp began, via ESPN. “It’s always the expectation.”

Smith doubled and said it was a “realistic goal” and had no reason to question faith. He pointed to the addition of the broad recipient George Pickens and the selection of the offensive Lineman Tyler books to back up his claim.

“I think we built a big core about offense; the addition of George and all the other key,” he added. “I think he is preparing Booker (in the first round), he will be a hell of a guy just to strengthen the front line. And we have a lot of guys everywhere, but these are some of the guys who are the most important pieces on what we do this year.”

Dallas managed to go 7-10 last season despite Prescott’s injury.

But with the team healthy, they have proven to be able to win NFC East. It only gets more difficult as Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl last season, and the Washington commanders seemed to be a real championship threat.
