The saga between Star Pass Rusher Micah Parsons and Dallas Cowboys is still going with just a few weeks left before the start of the regular season 2025.
Parsons requested a trade as he shed light on the lack of movement around contract negotiation negotiations between him and the organization. Team owner Jerry Jones has not budgeted much since Parsons released a long statement about the case.

Jones was asked about Parson’s status in a radio conversation on Saturday.
“I’m glad to see that he is training, in shape and feeling good, and therefore all this is good and I have nothing to comment on,” Jones told the 105.3 tab.
Parsons is likely to try to be paid in the same range as Cleveland Browns ‘Myles Garrett, who received a massive four -year deal, which is allegedly worth $ 160 million, or Pittsburgh Steelers’ TJ Watt, accepting a three -year deal allegedly worth $ 123 million.
The four-time pro bowler has 52.5 bags and 256 tackles in 63 career games.
He requested a trade on August 1st.

“Yes I would be here. I did all I could to show that I would be a cowboy and carry the star of my helmet. I would play in front of the best fans in sports and do this America [sic] Hold again. The team my pops and I grew up cheering on the way up into Harrisburg, Pa. Unfortunately, I will no longer be here, ”Parsons wrote in a statement.
“I will no longer have held to close door negotiations without my agent present. I no longer want shots taken on me to be injured while putting it on the line of the organization, our fans and my teammates. I no longer want stories created and spread to the media about me.
Jones has asked fans “not to lose sleep” over the Parsons drama.

Only time will show if Cowboys and Parsons can reach an appointment before the start of the season.
