NFL News: Draft

After turning into police last week on a sexual assault order, Isaiah Bond is now suing his prosecutor.

The 21-year-old called the allegations “obviously false” after sending $ 25,000 bonds and released. Now, just eight days before the NFL draft, Bond has taken litigation.

“Earlier tonight, Isaiah’s lawyers at Nesenhoff & Miltenberg, LLP filed the attached complaint in the United States District Court of Northern District in Texas in response to the false claim of sexual assault and defamatory declarations against him,” Bond’s lawyers said in a letter to all 32 NFL teams via the NFL.

“Unlike the false tale that has been reinforced, the truth, once revealed in its entirety, will show that he was targeted by a woman eight years, as his senior, relentlessly persecuted, lured by explicit photos and videos and ultimately set up for financial gain.

“Isaiah, as most 21-year-olds, must show a higher level of distinction in interactions on social media and access, but he is completely innocent of claims charged against him and will fight to clear his name. For clubs that still feel his elital, can help them win games in the next decade, he is eager to get back on Gridiron where he feels most at home.”

“With regard to the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, obviously false,” Bond wrote at X shortly after his arrest. “I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation.

“Unfortunately, allegations like these show to be harmful to everyone involved, absent full review. I kindly request that all reservation judgment until the authorities give a complete report based on truth and proof.”

Bond spent his last college season with Texas Longhorns after both Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell went to the NFL. Bond caught 34 passes in 540 yards and five touchdowns. He declared the NFL draft shortly after Longhorns was removed from College Football Playoff by any national champion Ohio State.

Before he traveled to Texas, Bond spent his first two college seasons in Alabama. His last touchdown in a Crimson Tide uniform came from Jalen Milroe on a 4th and-31 with 32 seconds left on the road towards Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
