“We are sure of our security policies and practices and will continue to emphasize compliance with our staff, whether in or off premises. In addition, the Ulbrich family works with the organization to participate in community service initiatives in relation to last week’s case.”

More NFL drafts of prospects fall victim to prank calls not related to shooting watch Sanders Prank: Report

Falcons announced over the weekend that Jax “accidentally encountered the draft contact phone number to shooting Sanders from an open iPad while visiting his parents’ home and writing the number down to make a prank call later.”

A friend of Jax who identified himself as New Orleans Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis, had named for Sanders.

Jax sent his own apology on social media after the revelation of his commitment.

“Sheath watch, what I did was completely unforgivable, embarrassing and shameful,” his apology read. “I am so sorry that I took away from your moment, it was selfish and childish. I could never imagine being ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life and I made a terrible mistake and messed with that moment. Thank you for accepting my call earlier today, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.”

Several other players received similar prank calls this weekend. A source told Associated Press that the league does not believe they are associated with Sanders’ situation.
