NFL News: George Kittle, Brock Purdy knocked up after week 1

San Francisco 49ers held Christian McCaffrey on the field in their 17-13 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, but another star substance weapon is expected to miss several weeks after leaving the game early.

The tight end George Kittle, who scored the team’s first touchdown of the year on Sunday in Seattle, left NFC West Bout with a hamstring injury. This injury is expected to keep him out three to five weeks, according to the NFL Network.

Main coach Kyle Shanahan announced the message Monday after the victory and said Kittle would miss a “a few weeks.” Shanahan added that no decision has been made to place the Kittle on an injured reserve.

While Kittle is not playing the coming week, there is a chance that the start of quarterback Brock Purdy may not be playing either.

Shanahan said Purdy has to do with left shoulder and toe damage, and he wouldn’t guarantee his quarterback would be able to play against New Orleans Saints. Shanahan also said the toe was the worse of the two suffering.

“Not sure, to see how it heals and how the week goes on,” Shanahan said of Purdy.

If Purdy is not available to the 49s, his Backup Veteran Mac Jones, New England Patriots’ 2021 first round elections that did not pan. He went on to Jacksonville Jaguars, where he gained experience in stepping in when needed.

Jones appeared in 10 matches, seven of which were starters, instead of Trevor Lawrence last season for Jaguars. Jones threw for eight touchdowns and eight interceptions in his time as Jaguars’ quarterback.

Finally, the broad recipient Jauan Jennings suffered a shoulder injury that also knocked him out of the game early. But the 49s avoided a serious situation when ESPN reported Jennings’ MRI came back clean. However, they will look at it again with a CT scan.

Unfortunately for the 49s, they have dealt with serious injuries to key players in recent seasons, especially McCaffrey and his bilateral Achilles Tendinitis last season.
