New York Giants may have shopped for their hopeful future franchise -quarterback last week, but don’t expect him to step on the field too often.
G-Men took Ole Miss’ Own Jaxson Dart with the 25th election in the NFL draft and allowed him to participate in a crowded space that already contains newcomers in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.
Winston was the first to sign with Giants This Offseason, who bred a two-year deal, with Wilson, who attended about a week later on a one-year covenant.

Wilson turns out to be Frontrunner to start week 1: “That’s what it is when we first started this spring,” said head coach Brian Daboll via Pro Football Talk.
With two veterinarians already in the room, it seems that Darts Rookie season will be a de facto red shirt campaign.
“Jaxson is going to come in, he has to learn the offense, there is a lot to learn. These NFL law offenses are hard to understand and pick up and then be able to go out and execute, so the ability for him to learn and sit behind two complete benefits will already be beneficial to him,” Giant’s general manager Joe Scho said.
New York chose the Penn State Edge Rusher Abdul Carter with the third choice.

This last season, DART was an average of 329.2 passing yards per year. Fight, Third Best in NCAA. In total, he went to 4,279 yards, 29 touchdowns and only six captures, led the rebels to a 10-3 overall record and fourth place in SEC.
He also turned out to be a legitimate running threat with 495 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
At. 21 he will be the youngest QB in the NFL in the 2025 season.
During passing exercises at NFL Combine, Darts 18 of 23 went and would have had even more finishes, if not for a few drops of his broad recipients. He highlighted the arm power and precision on each row of the pass, which proved that he could make every throw in the NFL.
