When the NFL enters week 4, a matchup stands out: Dallas Cowboys, hosting the Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium.
It marks the first return of Micah Parsons, the four-time pro bowler treated Green Bay this season in a shocking trade. Parsons has thrive with Packers, while Cowboys’ defense has fought without him.
Spotted “Sunday Night Football” ensures lots of attention, and many wondered if Dallas would show Parsons a tribute video to his contribution. Team owner Jerry Jones made it clear that it won’t happen.

“I don’t think it’s appropriate this way. Emmitt [Smith coming back] was another story, “Jones told the Athletic.” But it is not to lessen Micah. I think Micah has had enough welcome out there. We just have to show that we have an antidote to it. “

Tribute videos are common when star players return to their former home. Parsons, prepared 12. Total in 2021, collected 52.5 sacks and 112 quarterback hits during his time in Dallas.
Jones compared Parsons’ case with Smith, Hall of Fame, who ran back, who won three Super Bowls in 13 seasons with cowboys.

After his release in 2003, Smith received a tribute when he returned with Arizona Cardinals, Recognition Jones said that Parsons did not justify.
While Parsons became a fan favorite in Dallas, tension will remain between Star Pass Rusher and Jones.
Parsons has recorded 1.5 sacks and six quarterback hits through three games with Green Bay, 2-1 after a surprising loss for Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
