Jet’s main coach Aaron Glenn said he “assumes” someone who stepped on Fields’ toe, but said he will look at the tape and be sure that is the reason. Glenn added that Tyrod Taylor is ready to take over if necessary.
Fields signed a two-year contract that is allegedly worth $ 40 million in the peak season to replace Aaron Rodgers.
Fields appeared in 10 games for Pittsburgh Steelers last season and started six of them. The team went 4-2 in his starts and he finished 65.8% of his passports in 1,106 yards with five touchdowns and an eavesdropping.

Outside of fields, Jets have three other quarterbacks on their list: Taylor, Adrian Martinez and Brady Cook. If Fields should miss significant time, Taylor is suitable for replacing him as a start quarterback.
Taylor, 35, has played in NFL 14 seasons, started 58 games and has a record of 28-28-1. Taylor performed in two games last season with Jets and completed 17-22 passes in 119 yards and three touchdowns.
By 2023, Taylor started five matches for New York Giants and had a 2-3 record while completing 64.4% of his passports in 1,341 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions.
