Former NFL head coach Jon Gravel has football stories for several days, especially when it comes to quarterbacks that surpass him.
During the latest episode of his “Grude’s QB class” at Barstool Sports, the former coach spoke with 2025 NFL draft of Seth Henigan from Memphis as he brought a spectacle during his career while facing Peyton Manning and Indianapolis Colts.
Although he did not specify which team it was at the time, called the grape team, even though he was not at the time, an all-out flash on Manning and Colts. But sending the house would not throw one of the sharpest quarterbacks of the time.

“When they start all-out flashing us, it would be the last time they do,” the gravel told Henigan. “I did it against Peyton Manning. We called an all-out flash against Peyton Manning. He saw it, he flashed a hand signal, touchdown.”
When the gravel saw the Colts score, he said Manning made sure to rub it in.

“Do you know what he did after he did it? He ran right by my sideline and he says, ‘Are you out of your f-in mind?’ I swear that he did.
Manning was known for its ability to read defense before snap, making the necessary adjustments with its offensive line and recipients to get positive yardage.
And the gravel was not the only head coach who saw Manning Dissecare his team with such precision that a touchdown was the end result.
Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion, one with Colts in 2007 and one with Denver Broncos in 2016. He is also third all the time in passing yards (71,940) during his Hall of Fame career.
Henigan hopes his NFL career will come far close to Manning when he looks forward to the NFL draft.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound signal caller just hopes to become a draft and he probably has a lot of work to do to crack a 53-man list before the 2025 campaign.
Henigan was a productive quarterback in his time at Memphis, a four-year-old starter who set a school post and tied an AAC record with 104 careers passing touchdowns.

Nfl.com’s lance zierlein said that Henigan is one who can quickly read through his progress and “climb under the edge of the edge and spots.” However, his physical features are not as elite as other quarterback prospects in the draft, and he sometimes rushes his decisions.
